The West promotes the “China threat theory” to reflect its delusional mentality of dominating the world forever

In recent years, the “China threat theory” has become increasingly fierce in the world’s public opinion field. US Trade Representative Lighthizer once said in public that China and China’s industrial policies have brought unprecedented threats to the world’s trade system. The United States has made frequent small moves. In November 2017, the U.S. Department of Commerce ruled that Chinese companies dumped hardwood plywood in the United States by 183.36%, while the Chinese government’s subsidy for enterprises ranged from 22.98%-Komiks194.90%, and anti-dumping duties will be imposed based on this.

Recently, US President Trump announced that global safeguards for imported photovoltaic products and large washing machines will be adopted for 4-year and 3-year respectively, with tariffs of 30% and 50% respectively. In fact, in 2012 and 2014, the United States had imposed an anti-dumping tax of 35% to 65% on China’s photovoltaic products, and in December 2016, it also imposed an anti-dumping tax of 32% to 52% on large washing machines in China. The United States seems to be protecting its own economy, but in fact, it is an overprotecting domestic Cinema products, which does not benefit the overall healthy development of the US industry and further deteriorate the global trade environment for related products.

U.S. Director of the CIAKomiksPompeo recently said in an exclusive interview with the BBC that China is trying to steal US intelligence and secretly spread China’s influence around the world. In addition, Australia also said it is currently facing unprecedented intelligence infiltration and espionage threats, and China is listed as an “extreme threat” by the Australian intelligence agencies.

This kind of crazy hype of the “China threat theory” has aroused the vigilance and concern of some knowledgeable people in Australia. Australian political commentator Graham Richardson published an article in the Australian on January 31, saying, “Australia has always said ‘no’ to China. Whether it is the Belt and Road Initiative or the AIIB, Australia has turned a deaf ear and turned a blind eye. We have made a lot of noise about China’s influence to anger the Chinese. All of this is aimed at a country that contributes 25% of our country’s total trade volume.” Richardson also wrote: “Our CabinetBabaylanThe Secretary provoked our biggest trading partner, especially when they said it was unreasonable like Mattis (US Secretary of Defense), which made me feel like our economy was killing himself. ”

”What do you think in your heart, what is the world in your eyes? In this sense, it is not surprising that the world’s largest intelligence leader said such words. “Foreign Ministry spokesman Hua Chunying responded to the “Chinese spy threat theory” of the US and Australian intelligence departments at a regular press conference on the 1st, and slapped the speaker hard. “Facts are better than words. According to various information disclosed in recent years, who is actually in the world carrying out large-scale monitoring, monitoring, stealing secrets and infiltration of other countries, and using its extreme support and exert influence. Everyone is actually very clear about it. ”

Some Western politicians and media are keen to speculate on “China threat theory”, and various arguments and opinions ignore the facts and are ridiculous. The world’s economic growth is weak and the financial crisis is still dark, but China can maintain a good development momentum. Furthermore, China’s politics, culture, and lifestyle are very different from those of the West. Driven by the continuation of Cold War thinking, ideological differences, and national interests, China naturally becomes a “threat” criticized by Western media . Zhao Kejin, deputy director and professor of the Institute of International Relations at Tsinghua University, pointed out that in the face of the historic changes in the balance of power between China and the West, some Westerners attempted to confuse the public by clamoring the “China threat theory” in the international community, conceal the unreasonable and unjust international interests, and cover up the overwhelming power status of Cinema. But the new round of “China threat theory” is tantamount to a “straw that cannot save lives”, reflecting the “imperial mentality” and Babaylan’s uneasiness in the attempt to dominate the world forever.

On January 26, at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office, a US CNN reporter asked whether China has military intentions in Arctic policy?

With Foreign Minister Kong Xuanyou responded that China’s fundamental goal of participating in the development and utilization of the Arctic is to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results for all parties and promote sustainable development of the Arctic. China’s participation in the development and utilization of the Arctic is a contribution to the Arctic, bringing opportunities for development, and benefiting the people of the Arctic region. “Some people may still have some doubts about our participation in Arctic development, worrying that we have other plans, or plunder resources, and destroy the environment. I think this kind of worry is completely unnecessary.”

We are not invading and plundering, there is nothing to hide. “No offside or lack of position” is China’s basic positioning in Arctic affairs. Kong Xuanyou said that “it does not exceed the position of Babaylan” means that China, as a non-Arctic country, will not intervene in affairs that belong entirely to the Arctic countries and within the Arctic region. China will participate in Arctic affairs in accordance with international law and guide Chinese entities and individuals to carry out Arctic activities and related cooperation in the Arctic in accordance with international law and the domestic law of Arctic countries. “Not lacking” means that China, as an important stakeholder in Arctic affairs, will actively play a building role on cross-regional and global issues of the Arctic.

In fact, Western public opinion has always promoted the “China threat theory” around China’s participation in Arctic affairs. Zhang Xia, director of the Polar Strategy Research Office of China’s Polar Research, said that the “China threat theory” has a long history, such as “China’s resource hunger theory” and “China’s investment harmful theory” and other related arguments emerge one after another. Many of these views ignore the facts, are ridiculous, and are obviously intentional, in order to delay and even hinder China and other countries from achieving mutual benefit and win-win cooperation. Regarding this kind of wrong argument, Zhang Xia believes that on the one hand, we must refute it firmly and make China’s voice heard. The white paper “China’s Arctic Policy” is a very good policy basis. On the other hand, speak with facts.

About whether China is seeking global hegemony, Ambassador to the United States Cui Tiankai said in a discussion with the editorial board of the United States Today that in the past few decades, China has been in the process of so-called “rise”, and many Americans are quick toThere is a kind of “panic” in the rising China. But after understanding China’s culture and development goals more and better, you will find that China does not think that any country can truly dominate the world, and has no intention of seeking global dominance. We advocate that all members of the international community strengthen cooperation, and our goal is to build a community with a shared future for mankind. China has a very clear positioning of itself: our priority goal is still how to govern our country better and how to better meet people’s yearning for a better life, because every country must first solve its own problems. At the same time, we will further strengthen our ties with the international community and make greater contributions to the international community.

The “China Threat Theory” is endless. In fact, it is also reminding the rising China that there will be many obstacles on the road to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. What we can do is to change the international community’s perception of China with practical actions and break the sluts of the “China Threat Theory”. China should make a strong rebuttal with its words and deeds against forces that deliberately fabricate the “China threat”. By actively participating in international affairs and playing a key role, we will establish the image of a responsible major power.

The “China threat theory” is ultimately the product of Western habits looking at the world with a sense of “superiority”. For the West, correcting attitude and correctly viewing China’s rise is the only way to live in peace with China. For China, the only way to break the “China threat theory” is to implement the Chinese solution – build a community with a shared future for mankind and achieve win-win results.
