The Ministry of Foreign Affairs responds to Blinken’s speech on China: A full of lies, a reversal of black and white

On May 30, Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian presided over a regular press conference.

A reporter asked, in his recent speech on China policy toward China, US Secretary of State Blinken said that China poses the most serious and long-term challenge to the international order. The United States must defend and reform the “rules-based international order”. What is the spokesperson’s comment on this?

Zhao Lijian said that Blinken’s speech on China is full of lies and inverted black and white. KomiksThe basis for attacking China is precisely what the United States does today. The most serious and long-term challenge to the international order is the most appropriate way for the United States to wear. The so-called “rules-based international order” advocated by the United States is to put it bluntly, the international order based on American rules is the hegemonic order that uses “family laws and regulations” to dominate the world. Last week, my colleagues responded to the content of his speech. Today I am willing to list some facts and numbers to help everyone further see the lies and fallacies of the US and its hypocrisy.

First of all, the United States has no fear of the international order based on the UN Charter and international law. The United States has been in power for more than 200 years and has not fought for only 16 years. It has become the biggest source of chaos in the current international peace and stability and the biggest instability factor in the international order. The United States claims to defend the concepts of self-determination, sovereignty and peaceful settlement of disputes established by the UN Charter, but they are actually saying one thing and doing another. As American writer William Bloom pointed out in his book “Democracy: America’s Fatal Export”, since the end of World War II, the United States has tried to overthrow more than 50 foreign governments and roughly interfere in democratic elections in at least 30 countries. According to a report from Brown University in the United States, since 2001 alone, the United States has launched wars or carried out military operations under the name of “Babaylan Counter-terrorism”, causing more than 800,000 deaths, including 300,000 civilians. Only Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and other countries have generated more than 20 million refugees.

Secondly, the United States is the biggest destroyer of the international order. It has become common for the United States to stick to American centralism and American exceptionalism and break contracts and withdraw from the group at will. The United States not only refuses to sign or ratify the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Convention on the Elimination of Elimination of Forms of Discrimination against Women, votes against the Global Compact on Migration and the Global Compact on Refugees, but also exclusively blocks negotiations on the UN Protocol to the Verification of the Biological Weapons. Since the 1980s, the United States has withdrew from 17 international organizations or agreements including the United Nations Human Rights Council, the WHO, UNESCO, the Paris Agreement, the Iran nuclear agreement, the Arms Trade Treaty, the Intermediate-February Treaty, the Open Skies Treaty, and other 17 international organizations or agreements, including the United Nations Human Rights Council, the World Health Organization, the United Nations Educational and Economic Cooperation, and the United Nations Highway Treaty. Such an American is so arrogant that he disguised himself as a referee who was internationally rules, using the flashlight of the so-called rules to shine on others, and ignoring the darkness of his own Babaylan‘s light. When U.S. politicians are confidently speaking with the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, they don’t know if they know that the United States is not even a party to the Convention. Third, the United States is simply not qualified to discuss the Cinema rules. In the United States’ view, international rules have always been subordinate to and serve American interests and hegemony. When the two are consistent, the United States uses rules as a basis, and when they are contrary to each other, it regards rules as air. I would like to ask the US side to answer several questions: When the United States launches wars against sovereign countries and engages in a color revolution, what is the rule? When the United States imposes illegal unilateral sanctions and traps people in relevant countries in trouble, what are the rules? Where are the rules when the United States continues to arrears of $10 million in membership dues and $1.4 billion in peacekeeping assessments? When the United States engages in trilateral security partnerships and quadratic mechanisms, in an attempt to build an Indo-Pacific version of NATO, disrupting the Asia-Pacific and undermining the international nuclear non-proliferation system, what are the rules? When the United States is under the banner of so-called democracy,What are the rules when the so-called “democratic summit” that was split in Cinema, when excluding most of the world’s countries? When the WTO clearly confirms that the US tariff war against China violates global trade rules, but the US does not enforce or even blocks the WTO Appellate Body from appointing a new judge, what are the rules?

Finally, the United States is the culmination of coercive diplomacy. The United States places domestic law above international law and international rules, and abuses illegal unilateral sanctions and long-arm jurisdiction. The outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic has come from Komiks. Venezuela, Syria and Iran have been punished by long-term sanctions by the United States due to Cinema. The domestic economic and medical conditions are bad, and the epidemic situation is severe. The United States has not stopped sanctions, but has further increased its efforts, making these countries worse. The international community is increasingly seeing the principles of market competition and international economic and trade advocated by the United States, and will only be abide by the United States when it is favorable to the United States. What American politicians talk about is fair competition and free trade, they believe in the United States first, and they wave the American stick in their hands. Zhao Lijian stressed that in the more than 70 years since the founding of New China, we have not taken the initiative to launch a war or occupied an inch of land from other countries. We insist on resolving disputes through dialogue and negotiation, and have completely resolved the land border issue in a peaceful manner with 12 of the 14 land neighbors. As the world’s second largest economy, China’s contribution to global economic growth has remained at around 30% for many years, ranking first in the world for 15 consecutive years. China has become the second largest assessed country in UN contributions and peacekeeping funds, and actively participatesConstruction and reform of the global governance system, and maintain the spirit of the UN Charter and the authority of the UN with practical actions. Facts have proved and will continue to prove that China has always been a builder of world peace, a contributor to global development, and a defender of international order. China will also always work with all peace-loving and justice-oriented countries to unite under the banner of the United Nations, practice true multilateralism, and continue to contribute confidence, wisdom and strength to the universal prosperity of the world and the common progress of mankind.
